Cybercrime Programs Explore the Types and Costs of Cybercrime
As the world becomes more connected, cybercrime is on the rise. The most common cybercrime is a data breach, which happens when unauthorized actors gain access to sensitive information without obtaining proper authentication methods or cybersecurity protocols. This can result in compromised data, financial losses, and tarnished reputations. Programs that explore this type of cybercrime often address how these breaches are discovered and investigated as well as incident response strategies. ML and AI technology can play an important role in helping to prevent these types of cyberattacks by tracking malicious activity, identifying threats and vulnerabilities, and responding quickly in real-time.
