About Cyberthreat News

The world’s digital ecosystems continue to expand, expanding the attack surface and forcing organizations to address threats shaped by geopolitical tensions and technological shifts. Automated reconnaissance surged, with attackers scanning 36,000 malicious scans per second on average – a 16.7% year-over-year increase. Exploitation attempts also climbed sharply, with over 97 billion exploitations recorded in 2024, many targeting years-old vulnerabilities and reflecting patch gaps.
