A China-aligned threat actor codenamed UTA0388 has been using a series of spear-phishing campaigns to socially engineer targets into clicking malicious links that deliver a Go-based implant, Volexity reports. The implants can steal data from the victim’s device and network, including SMS messages, notifications, and call logs; take photos with the front camera; and more.
Fortra reveals a flaw in its on-premises GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer (MFT) product that’s been actively exploited since at least September 11, 2025. The company contacted customers and made patches available as soon as possible.
