The FBI’s “Cyber’s Most Wanted” list includes 100 criminals who are believed to have caused damages estimated at $6 trillion. This is why cybersecurity products and services must continuously evolve to match the pace of new threats.
To help organizations address these challenges, a number of companies are developing solutions that enable them to continuously monitor and protect their networks against a variety of attacks. Many of these emerging products are focused on integrating threat intelligence from multiple sources, as well as providing easy integration with existing security infrastructure.
In addition, the growing demand for remote work has fueled the development of tools that enable businesses to monitor and secure a wide range of endpoints, including employee mobile devices and personal devices brought into the workplace. These are often referred to as extended detection and response (XDR) tools.
When determining which key indicators to measure, it is critical that stakeholders participate in two-way conversations to define their requirements. They should also agree on a reporting cadence and style, such as dashboards or slide presentations.
