AI cybersecurity is no longer a nice-to-have; it’s a necessity for organizations of all sizes to mitigate the increasing sophistication of cyber threats. They then compare it to “normal” behavior and flag any anomalies. This happens when the data used to train an algorithm is biased or unrepresentative, causing the AI to learn and perpetuate those biases in its predictions and decisions. The key to addressing this risk is the development of AI that’s grounded in ethical principles, along with transparency and explainability for all stakeholders in the organization. It’s also essential to conduct regular penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on AI systems to uncover and address potential vulnerabilities.
